This catalogue accompanies our current exhibition. Dame Magdalene Odundo is a Kenyan-British ceramic artist based in Farnham. Originally training as a graphic designer, she went on to study ceramics at the West Surrey College of Art & Design in Farnham (now UCA) and the Royal College of Art. She taught at the Commonwealth Institute in London and the Royal College of Art, before returning to teach at the then Surrey Institute of Art & Design in 1977, becoming Professor of Ceramics in 2004. She has been Chancellor of UCA since 2018.
