6:00pm Registration at CSC. Lecture (UCA Lecture Theatre) to be followed by a short drinks reception.

Chair of the Crafts Study Centre, Alison Britton, will give this special lecture celebrating the founding of the CSC on 1st April 1970. The lecture will re ect on the story and study of craft and her own curatorial projects for the Crafts Study Centre and offer a personal insight into the collections and archives. Alison will also describe her own distinguished narrative of making, curating and writing across modern and contemporary arts. Alison Britton’s ceramics have, and continue to be, exhibited and collected internationally.

Admission free but numbers are limited and bookings must be made with the Crafts Study Centre in advance.
