Over the last year the Crafts Study Centre has been working with community groups to explore the value and potential of its handling collection, supported by a grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey. Unlike the bulk of the Centre’s objects that have to be seen and handled on-site and under supervision, the handling collection can be taken away from the Centre and used in community settings.

Join us as we present findings from the three community workshops and how these have helped us develop the handling collection. We will share new additions to the handling collection made by the Farnham pottery workshop 318 Ceramics that have been designed in response to the workshops, as well as a new pamphlet explaining how to access and use the handling collection.

Free, but booking required. Tea/coffee provided.
