Launch of Farnham Craft month at UCA

  • Crafts Study Centre University for the Creative Arts England, GU9 7HA United Kingdom (map)

You are warmly invited to the launch of Farnham Craft Month. The event will take place at the University for the Creative Arts, with new exhibitions in the galleries and family-focussed craft stalls in the quadrangle. Farnham’s craft community is coming together to offer demonstrations, drop-in activities and the chance to have a go at a huge range of crafts, suitable for all ages. There will be craft for sale, demos by UCA’s talented tutors, and an exhibition of high-quality craft.

Find out more on the UCA’s webpages.

We do hope you are able to join us for the event and get a taster for what is offer during the month-long celebration of craft in Farnham.

A full brochure of Farnham Craft Town events is available here and you can see the CSC events on our events page.

As part of the event, the Harvest Moon table will be on display in UCA’s James Hockey Gallery, led by UCA Professors of Architecture Charles Holland and Cat Rossi and Local Works. The project investigates biomaterials, seasonality, agriculture and gathering and consists of a table made from harvested materials. The accompanying programme explores what we collect, gather, and give thanks for today.

Free parking will be available in the UCA carpark, signposted off Falkner Road, opposite Potters Gate.
